How to Apply

Once you have considered our MBA admissions criteria and are qualified to apply for the MBA programme, here’s how to begin the application process.

1. Complete an online application form

All applications are done online at www.tut.ac.za where you will also find details of what supporting documents will be required.

2. Pay the non-refundable application fee and submit your documentation

You will need to upload the proof of payment to your application. As such, your proof of payment needs to be in PDF so that you can upload it.

Once you have completed the online application form, you will receive an SMS or email confirming that you have applied. You will also receive a student number. Please then forward us your certified supporting documentation.

Once your application form has been submitted, the Academic Office will send you reference forms which are to be completed by your referees and returned to the Academic Office.

3. Write the admissions test

We use Top Talent Solutions (TTS) to administer our admissions assessment. Each applicant must score an overall minimum of 4 out of 10 for the TTS assessment. Applicants that score a minimum of 160 out of 360 for the NMAT will also be considered.

Once the admissions assessment results are available and your reference forms have been submitted to the Academic Office, your application will be ready to be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.

The final review of your application will be based on your supplied CV, your references and the outcome of your admissions assessment. You will be informed of the outcome of your application as soon as the review process has been completed.
