Accreditation
The GSB is 1 of a handful of business schools in Africa to have the prestigious triple-crown accreditation – meaning that it is accredited by the three leading global accreditation bodies, namely: the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Association of MBAs (AMBA), and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development.
These accreditations serve the important function of quality control and isolate areas for a business school that could be improved upon. This gives students and employers the assurance that the School’s programmes measure up to the best in the world.
The GSB is also affiliated with the Association of African Business Schools (AABS), The Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC), South African Business Schools Association (SABSA), The Academy of Business in Society (ABIS), Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), Global Business School Network (GBSN), and the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM).
