Dr Caesar Mwangi delivers a guest lecture for WBS students

Wits Business School’s MBA class of 2024 was recently treated to a guest lecture by Dr Caesar Mwangi, Executive Dean of Strathmore University Business School (Kenya). For Dr Mwangi, who presented on “Leadership and Culture – the Essentials for Success”, it was exciting to return to his alma mater. He completed his MBA at WBS in 1995.

Dr Mwangi has held several key leadership positions in South Africa and Kenya following his MBA which, he recalls, led to his resolve to be a “great transformational leader to improve every organisation and environment I find myself in”.

Guest lectures by prominent academics and business leaders from other parts of Africa form an essential part of the learning journey at WBS. They also feed into the school’s strategic intent to partner with top global academic institutions for mutually beneficial exchanges, and to build strong relationships with leaders in Africa who are a force for positive change.
