Once you have considered the MBA Minimum Admissions Criteria and are qualified to apply for the MBA programme, you can begin the application process. Complete an online application form. This can be done at www.tut.ac.za where you will also find details of what supporting documents will be required. Pay the non-refundable application fee of R500. Please note, proof of payment needs to be in an electronic format (PDF only) in order for you to upload this to the application form. Send the supporting documents. Once you have completed the online application form, you will receive an SMS or email stating that you have applied. You will also receive a student number. Submit reference forms. Once your application form has been submitted, the Admissions MBA Office will send you reference forms, which are to be completed by your referees and submitted to the Admissions MBA Office. Write the entrance test. We use the NMAT psychometric test. Each applicant must score an overall minimum of 160 out of 360 for the psychometric test. The NMAT psychometric test is a time sensitive test; it assesses an applicant’s verbal, numerical and inductive reasoning. Once the test results are available and reference forms have been submitted to the Admissions MBA Office, the application will then be ready to be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. The final review of your application will be based on your supplied CV, as well as the outcome of your psychometric test. You will be informed of the outcome of your application as soon as the review process has been completed.
