UFS Business School
The UFS Business School was established in 1999 with the first intake of MBA students in July 1999.
The core of our MBA programme has been designed in collaboration with the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University in Chicago, USA. The School also has agreements with Groupe ESC Rennes in Rennes, France, Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg, France and the Management Development Institute in Gurgaon in India.
Vision: To be one of the top 10 schools of management in South Africa.
Mission: Our task is the empowerment of management leaders who wish to be equipped with relevant and applicable management as well as leadership skills by a leading, quality-oriented smaller South African school of management. By means of a client-oriented focus we offer accredited certificate, diploma, degree and short learning programmes and are especially known as leaders in the field of recognition of prior learning.
In the performance of this task, leading national and international lecturers are used to develop management leaders to the meaningful integration of management theory and practice by means of residential delivery. In addition, existing national and international co-operation agreements are utilised to the advantage of our clients as well as that of international partners.
Our relevance for management empowerment in the Africa management environment is rounded off further by continuous professional management and leadership development.
